But wait... here's an idea... google the court name. I guarantee there is a phone number easily found.

I do telephone hearings but not for cases where I can't see the paperwork, and only locally.IKG said:if they give a telephone hearing, can any one from the group help me by joining the session.........I get very anxious when having to deal with stuff like this?
You will have to ask a confident friend or relative to present your case.
DO NOT REPLY TO ANY PRIVATE MESSAGE OFFERING TO HELP AND TO TAKE YOU OFF FORUM. SOME CYNICAL AND VERY AGGRESSIVE COMPANIES READ MSE AND TRAWL IT FOR BUSINESS.
YOU DO NOT NEED A LAY REP.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad when you mean paperwork, I am happy to share the details with you. I am happy to message you the details of my county court too. I would really appreciate it if someone from the forum could help as you guys have a lot more experience.Coupon-mad said:

I mean literally see the papers. It's nigh on impossible to lay rep for someone not local IMHO.
You don't need this and I can't offer it for posters, sorry. I can't spare time to do this and only do it for local Sussex Defendants.
But I want you to know Judges are lovely and will listen to you and will help guide you through the process. You are not in trouble or being 'personally judged' and all you do is write yourself a crib sheet of short points you want to cover.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

thank you for the reassurance @Coupon-mad
the email response for my query below:
I cannot advise when you will received the hearing date. The court has been closed due to COVID19 . Once the matter has been listed you will be sent a hearing notice. If there are any dates you are anavailable for the next 6 months, please email the dates to the court.1 -
over the phone they said it can take up to 6 months or longer, and I will have to just wait and see.
in the mean time shall i prepare anything ?0 -
Writing up your WS while it is realtively fresh isnt a bad idea.
Its not hours of work.2 -
Hi everyone, I still haven't heard anything and when i followed it up by calling and emailing they said wait till you receive a date. thanks0
