Just HAVE to mention about my local greengrocer Kenmans. I've ignored him for many years whilst flirting with the big supermarkets, but having read some books about the supermarket takeover and they way they treat people, I've recently decided to try my local greengrocer.
He stocks vegetables that are in season, as well as loads of organic foods, and can't help you enough to get the things you want. BUT he came into his own the other day when I was £2.50 short of cash. Usually in the supermarket you'd be panicking about the impatient queue behind you while you decided what to put back ::) But my greengrocer said to drop it in next time I'm passing, bless him!!

Certainly am! And it's on my way home from work, AND the bakery is right opposite, so am now getting fresh bread which used to be a luxury due to time etc! ;D ;DThat's really nice to hear.
