NTK from Armtrac for St Ives

I have just sent a copy of the letter in reply to NTK from Armtrac as per the Newbie guide.
My question is whether I should continue with a fight against them. My situation is that in August, both my cars were parked in the Stennack Car park in St Ives. Contactless payment was used to purchase the tickets. Although the Pay Machine said payment approved, the tickets said void (not noticed at time :embarasse ).
On return to car park, PCN on windscreen, error realized but online bank checked and payments shown as pending.
Letter sent to the landowner but no response. As the keeper should I continue to fight.( NTK does not mention keeper liability)

Wait until you see the result of your appeal. Your options then are to submit a POPLA appeal, if it is a BPA PPC or wait for a letter of claim followed by court papers. You could try a landowner cancellation on the basis that THEIR PDT was faulty and plead frustration of contract.0

Nine times out of ten of these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra work.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
