</td></tr></tbody></table>THE much-loved panto character of Jack takes to the stage at the Theatre Royal Winchester at Christmas.
Jack and the Beanstalk runs from 6 December to 2 January and is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.
It follows the traditional storyline of the poor peasant boy Jack who takes his only cow to market and exchanges her for some magic beans.
His mother throws the beans out of the window in frustration and by morning a giant beanstalk has grown.
"This is a brilliant story, perfect for panto, with a fantasy world at the top of the beanstalk, a giant's castle, an evil giant and an even more evil wife," said writer James Barry.
Tickets are available from the box office on 01962 840440 but why not give yourself the chance to win one of two family tickets to see the show?
All you have to do is answer the following question: What does Jack swap for beans?
1 His mother 2. His hat 3. His cow
