Insuring contents for damage only

Do any insurers do just damage policies on contents (not accidental, just fire/flood etc)?

I am not interested in claiming if I get burgled.

Can't seem to find any information on this type of policy.

Considering that you can get the whole coverage for like £100 it seems daft not to insure against theft.

Damage via flood or fire.

Not interested in insuring against theft. My big ticket items are sofas etc. Nothing that could be stolen.

My contents insurance without legal and accidental damage is £37 for the year with Saga.
Best I ever got was £56 with Yorkshire Building Society with a love to shop voucher for £50 so cost for year £6

Are you posting from an Internet cafe or work computer?

Most people’s valuables are now phones, laptops, iPads, Apple Watch etc.

I don’t think there’s an alternative to a standard package.

There's always an alternative. It'll probably cost more to have a policy underwritten specifically to exclude theft than take a package policy that includes it, but if the OP is determined he should find one in the end.
