Backdated Home Insurance Renewal price change

Hi there,
Hope someone can help me with this please.
I made a claim on my home insurance in February 2019. The claim was progressing and then in April 2019 we received our renewal quote from the same company which we accepted and paid.
The claim was finalised in August 2019 due to various delays with builders etc.
The insurance company have now sent me a demand for a further £83 saying that, now the claim has been finalised, the renewal amount should have been more, even though they were aware a claim was being made.
Does anyone know if this is legal please? The renewal did not state the price could change if the claim was successful and I can't see anything about it in the policy document.
Many thanks for any advice.

Without knowing the two years premiums it is hard to say.
Sounds pretty noraml though.0 -
The renewal price was around ,£240.
Now they are saying it "should" have been a further £83 for the exact same period i.e. from April 2019 to March 2020 because the claim has been "finalised" now.0
