Tesco delivery saver

Just tried to cancel my delivery saver with Tesco as I have tried to manage the new bagless deliveries but cannot due to a variety of issues.
I have been told I cannot cancel until it is due for renewal in January. I have looked at their website and it states that you can cancel anytime if there is a material change to the terms and conditions which surely the stores going bagless is??

I'd have thought so as well! Then again large companies treat customers like this because they get away with it. I'd kick up a huge stink and make sure I'd account for all my time dealing with it then send them a bill.0

I don't see any mention of bags, or bagless deliveries, in the Terms and Conditions. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Thanks for your replies I know it's a minor thing but it's bugging me!
It says on the FAQ regarding delivery saver
Cancel anytime if there is a material change to the terms and conditions of the plan and when I signed up there was a choice of bags or no bags..
Just heard back from them and was told I still have to let it run (and pay) then they'll refund in Jan what months I haven't used fair enough at least I'm not paying for a service I can't access0 -
Sounds like you've sorted it now but if you want to try again, can't you leave some bags by the door and ask the delivery driver to put the delivery into them? That's no different to the old delivery in bags. The drivers and normally more than happy to help. Or they can take your food through to the kitchen and unload onto the worktop or table.0
