I had over 15 different current accounts at one point to take advantage of the various bank offers, as long as you follow their account minimum requirements then you should have no issues. I never did.
I put £500 into TSB and take it out on the same day using standing orders and haven't suffered any interest penalty.GOAL:- £400k in Savings by March 2026 SAVINGS: – £385,758 COMPLETE GOALS - Debt Free, Mortgage Free, £350k Savings Save 12k in 2025 #41 = £19,280 / £25,0000 -
but they wouldn't just pick up on this as an "exploit" (knowing that the offer exists because they really want you to be paying your salary in and using them as a primary account)
I have never used either my NW or TSB accounts as "main accounts" - never any trouble with the interest or the same day mid month SOs.0 -
