Eurotunnel travel insurance - you need a booking now

Have just found out that you can no longer purchase (or renew) travel insurance without now having a booking with them. You didn't used to have to be travelling with them at all to buy their insurance.

Two ways around this:
- Single trip combined insurance (with breakdown/assistance), is available to anyone. May not be very cost-effective if the extra not required.

- For annual travel insurance, get a booking. They have said the insurance is totally independent of the booking, so the annual insurance is valid on all trips regardless of how travelled (i.e. not with Eurotunnel). They have confirmed to me that this can be any booking at all, so you can get annual family insurance with a motorcycle booking.

Question is: What is the cheapest booking you can possibly buy with Eurotunnel? £22 motorcycle day trip return best I can find. Any major other avenues I might be missing?
