    last time i applied for an mbna credit card (the sony one, for the free mp3 player) there was a hitch in my application and they wanted me to send off loads of documentation so i thought forget it... they still paid up the cashback though :)

    edit: still think its a daft idea though, just for the sake of not all that much money... credit cards are dangerous things to have...

    I agree with devild, it states quite clearly in the forum etiquette 'Pls be nice to all money savers'- just because you don't necessarily agree with what the OP has done, Leanne200, there's no need to say what you have said, why couldn't you have just explained politely why, in your eyes, this is not a good idea? :confused:
