Going to appeal to Tesco as landowner but local branch say we must write to head office, Welwyn Garden City. Is this best address and anyone in particular we should contact?
I will follow the newbies instructions if that does not work.
Thanks in advance.

I will tell you that Dave Lewis plays hard ball and supports his parking scammers. In other words, he would prefer you to shop at Lidl or Aldi ?

So buy a share, (only £2.31 and falling) at Tesco and ask him about it at the next AGM. Also get your MP on side as nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

:beer:Well I emailed Tesco and quickly got a reply to contact Horizon and comeback if the ticket wasn't cancelled.
Wrote a nice letter to Horizon giving the facts and quoting Tesco's email.
Today had a reply to say the PCN is cancelled, so good result.
    Thanks all.:j:j:j
