Radiohead

Win their back catalogue

radioheadbox.jpgRadiohead are releasing all six of their studio albums in both a boxset and on USB memory stick and we've got one of each of them to give away to one lucky winner.

In Rainbows (released in physical form on New Year's Eve) is not included in this boxset package but Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, and Hail To The Thief plus live album (I Might Be Wrong) most certainly are.

While the boxset includes all original artwork with the albums in Digipak form, the limited edition USB stick (pictured, below) holds the entire back catalogue in CD-quality WAV files and has the digital artwork on it as well.

radioheadusb.jpgWe think the best thing about the USB stick is that it's in the shape of Radiohead's iconic bear. It'll be available exclusively from the band's official online shop and, of course, in this fantastic competition.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this great prize is answer the following question correctly. If you're struggling with the answer, you might want to check out Radiohead's biography. Good luck!

<SCRIPT language=javascript type=text/javascript> function fn_formCheck(s_formobj,s_mode) !! var alertMsg = "Please complete the following questions:\n"; var l_Msg = alertMsg.length; if (s_formobj.elements.email && s_formobj.elements.email.value=="") alertMsg+=" - Please enter your email address\n"; if (s_formobj.elements.telephone && s_formobj.elements.telephone.value=="") alertMsg+=" - Please enter your phone number\n"; if (s_formobj.elements.address && s_formobj.elements.address.value=="") alertMsg+=" - Please enter the first line of your address\n"; if (s_formobj.elements.postcode && (s_formobj.elements.postcode_extra.value=="" || s_formobj.elements.postcode.value=="0")) alertMsg+=" - Please enter your full postcode"; if (alertMsg.length==l_Msg) return true; else !! alert(alertMsg); return false; } } </SCRIPT>You need to be a VIP to enter this competition. Answer: On a Friday :D
From Wikipedia:
In 1986, they formed the band "On a Friday", the name referring to the band's usual rehearsal day in the school's music room.[8] On a Friday played their first gig at Oxford's Jericho Tavern in late 1986.[9] Jonny Greenwood joined as a keyboard player but soon became the lead guitarist.[8]
Although Phil Selway, Thom Yorke, Colin Greenwood, and Ed O'Brien had left Abingdon by 1987 to attend university, the band continued to rehearse often on weekends and holidays.[10] In 1991, when all the members except Jonny had completed their university degrees, On a Friday regrouped, but briefly changed their name to "Shindig."
And if I really were an angel, I'd float over your bed
Each night a different dream of me I'd plant inside your head
And if I were an angel, I tell you what I'd do
I'd appear in a vision and I'd give my wings to you
