PIP Appeal Won - Can I claim interest on the delay of my benefit payment ?

Hi all
My brother has won his PIP appeal Assessed by DWP as 2 points total (£0 payment), appeal court enhanced on both parts (Full payment).
This has been in excess of 20 months and now due to a typing error its going to be about another 2 months before I see any of this benefit.
My question is can I claim for the interest on this money as I have been deprived of that money by them not assessing me correctly in the first place.
Any advice is welcome

It's highly unlikely that you'll receive any interest for the delay. Tribunal waiting times are huge across most of the country and lots of people are waiting in excess of 1 year.Hi all

No OP you can't claim interest, as it's not your claim.
You said it was your brother, hope you were more honest in your claim form than you are on here.0
