Go to the NEWBIE sticky on the first page of the forum, find post # 2 and scroll down until you see this: -HAVE YOU FOUND OUT ABOUT A CCJ (JUDGMENT FOR CLAIMANT) AND NEED IT SET ASIDE?
Here's how - DO NOT ring the parking firm up...and do not just pay them:

This forum deals with private parking invoices and can help (and could have helped) motorists up to and including court. Anything after the judgement has been made concerning financial advice is beyond the scope of a parking forum, and beyond the knowledge and ability of the majority of the few regulars who help here.
You may be able to make a claim against the PPC and landowner for a breach of the EA 2010, and you may be able to get advice on debt management, but not a huge amount on this parking forum.
My only suggestions are, try the debt forum, and contact Sheila at https://bailiffadviceonline.co.uk/. She posts on MSE as Herbie21, and has a good reputation.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

then keep reading and read the links. If you are in financial difficulties you may be eligible for help with fees.
I already checked out those sticky threads and they are all different scenarios, which is why I posted a new thread. Thanks though0 -

Cheers for taking the time to reply. Moral of the story is, it might look fake but deal with it anyway.0

Not since the days of Trev $hitehouse's ANPR Ltd have fake court claim forms been used - probably 5 years since.
For any newbie reading this who has a court claim from a PPC in their hands, it is 99.99% likely to be genuine. Do not ignore it!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I doubt this person has to pay court fees so setting a CCJ aside is a no brainer.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I doubt this person has to pay court fees so setting a CCJ aside is a no brainer.with a DRO there is probably no point in forking out for a set aside.
You should run this past your DRO intermediary as it shouldn't be an excluded debt. Some fines confirmed by a Magistrates Court are excluded by this one shouldn't be. But you have to be guided by your DRO intermediary.
If they say it can be included, and it should be, then the decision to go for a set-aside, if it is no cost to you, would simply be for the enjoyment of putting them through the hoops.Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.
