Driveway Prices

Due to increasing difficulty in parking our cars outside our house we have decided the best option is to convert the front garden into a driveway and then get the kerb cut out by the council. Yesterday we had Crystal Windows over for a quote for our double glazing and they advised us that they now do paveways. He mentioned that it would cost around £3300 whIch I thought was very high and the front garden is only small. Has anyone got any suggestions for a more economical price for North London. I'm not sure if they are quoting such high prices because its London as we are not looking for any flashy designs just a nice neat drive,

Why would you let a double glazing company even quote for a driveway? best way forward is to have a walk round where you live and see if any of your neighbors have had theirs done,if so knock and ask who did it,how much it cost and mostimportantly WOULD THEY RECOMMEND THE COMPANY TO OTHERS.0

Getting the kerb cut out isn’t an easy process and likely to be expensive as have to use council contractors. Start looking into your course cold procedures for this before anything else0

You missed out all the important info for anyone to say if its a fair price or not, How many square meters, What surface type, Concrete, Block paving, Tarmac, Gold ?
Is it level? Will it take 1 load to remove dirt or 5?
And you could expect a bill for the kerbstone dropping for £3-5K0 -
Crystal only quoted because we are getting our old double glazing replaced and they said that they do driveways also. They didn't even measure and ask what we wanted.0
