If you want me to check out the prices through my work portal i'll see if i can get you some discount? Its worth a try i know i get discount for the flights and its also for friends and family. could be a new friend and get the discount maybe? pm me your dates for flying and i'll see what they can do.

Virgin don't have First class as such-they have Upper Class which is a business class product. It's a good product but certainly NOT like "No other" especially on the Far Eastern routes where they are beaten hands down by several carriers in terms of comfort and service in business and wiped the floor with in (very very expensive real first class.
You might want to think what you are paying for though as with a big comfy seat you'll (hopefully) be asleep if it's the return you want-on the outbound it could be argued you get more bang for your buck as you are awake to appreciate it !!
(Basing this on the fact that most outbounds are day flights and most inbounds are overnight-There are some exceptions)
Please be careful about giving personal details to anyone who claims to work for Virgin -with respect to James I'd expect him to know Virgin don't have a first class product as it is drummed into their staff NOT to say it is first class as a legal issue for incorrect description even though it IS a great product!

thanks for your replies, James that is very kind of you, im still undecided as to where i going yet? i hate flying as its so uncomfortable, even short flight i find bad, i have flown one long haul that was to the Dom Rep, its not so bad going, as you have the holiday to chill out, but i find coming home awful, its feels like its takes away from the great holiday you just had, i just want to be able to sit back ands really be comfortable, so im don't need another holiday to recover.

I've got to say, First/Upper class is nice but not worth the extra money, considering they can want more than double the economy fare. Fine you get better food and a bigger seat, but you're only there for 10 hours or so and then it's over. If I were you I'd fly economy, and use the money you save to pay for a nicer hotel/resort, then you get to enjoy it for 2 weeks rather than 10 hours.

PBA I am going to stay at a nicer resort, i want to treat myself to a great exprerience flying back ( not a battery hen seat) 10 /14 hour flight can be a nightmare in my experience, i wanted to know if anyone had booked the uperclass seats on virgin??

Virgin Economy is awful. Seats and seat pitch are too small.
Premium Economy was disappointing. You still have to clamber over someone to get to the aisle.
The food was seriously disappointing in Upper Class. The Lamb Shank like something out of ASDA, the Salmon disappointingly dry.

The Upper Class lounge was excellent.

Thanks donnie , i thought virgin premium were rows of two? i surpose i may depend on where you fly to, also in virgin upper class could you turn your seat to a bed?

My point with PE, was that there was not enough space in front of your knees to move around freely without disturbing the passenger next to you. The problem is exacerbated, if the seat in front is in a reclined position.

Yes, they have Flat Bed seats in Upper Class.

Is it really that difficult to write properly?
