Holiday payment

Hello,

being on a 2 day contract but working up to 5 days, we have been entitled to only 13 days of holidays per year. We work on a basis of hourly pay.
Currently the company "realized" the mistake and want to rectify it.
What globally are our rights?
How far can they back pay us and when do they need to show how this was calculated?

Second question : being on a mission, on the behalf of the employer, does travel time counts for work time?
Because the employer says "the tradition is to pay 8 hours even if you spend less" But does that also mean that it works to our disadvantage when we are stuck and spend more time (like they book us a scheduled train, not an open ticket)

They can backpay you for as long as they like. They must backpay you for the last six years underpayments, or you could request the money through a court, assuming you were contractually entitled to it, or it fell below statutory minimums.

Yes, if you are travelling outside of your normal place of work for your employer. In practice it is quite normal for this kind of travel to be at least partially outside of working hours.

Is there a law that I could give a link to to my employer? In case if they struggle to pay ;)
