Hi everyone.
I have done a search for contents insurance and I have quoye if £50 a year that’s for. £50k of cover with admiral. With £100 compulsory excess fee.
If I add the accidental cover it goes up by £23. I have an iPhone se, a tv, w laptop, iPad and camera which would be the main things I could damage. Also I’m getting a cochlear implant as well soon.
Would this be worth getting. I have had my phone for 18 months now and no real damage just wear and rare. The screen is not cracked at all.
It also covers items away from my home that I use in handbag .
Would you say this is a good quote?

See the MSE guide to cheap home insurance (link amongst quick links at the top of the page) for advice on getting quotes
Then you will be able to see how to check out what is a good quote for your circumstances0 -
Do you have contents like carpets, furniture? Or are you in furnished rental accomodation?
Accidental damage to contents would cover spilling paint on a carpet, knocking over a glass cabinet etc.
At the end of the day only you can decide if it’s worth it, but check whether accidental damage extends to personal possessions (the items you mention that can be carried outside the home).0
