Lornell invest

I have been approached by this comany(lornell invest) to invest money into for very good returns.
Initially £500.00 for a month, see the results, then increase to £5000.00.
Has anyone got any dealings/information with this company?

Don't know anything about Lornell Invest but would never be interested in any company offering investments via cold-calling (or whatever form of unsolicited approach they used), as reputable investment companies don't do this....

The state of their website would seem to confirm that Lornell Invest isn't a reputable investment company - steer clear and ignore any similar approaches in future unless you have more money than sense (to start with)!

Edit: Googling 'Lornell Invest' doesn't seem to return many results at the time of posting, but it's not unknown for cautionary threads on here to reach the top of search rankings by virtue of the forum's popularity, so perhaps this effect will be apparent with Lornell Invest ;)

Edit 2: ....and there we go, this thread is now in second place on a Google search!

You've 'been approached by them'? How? Any firm cold-calling or cold-emailing or cold-mailing you is probably best completely avoided.

Their website is, literally, impenetrable. You can't even get basic info without logging in.

And it was created just 70 days ago according to a domain search.

    I'd run a mile.

Genuine regulated financial services companies do not cold call.

There is no regulated company using the name "lornell" on the FCA register. This means they hold no legal right to retail investments to consumers in the UK. It may be that they are not offering retail investments but business transactions or carrying out an unregulated activity.

Not just the FCA register, no such company exists at Companies House either meaning they are either completely fictitious or based abroad. Either way you would be mad to give them any money.

I can tell you what will happen if you do though, that £500 you first invested for a trial month will magically shoot up in value. As will any other money you invest right up until the point you try to withdraw it. From then on you will be unable to contact them.

Does it seem "too good to be true"?

    You know what they say.....

These scams can come in many forms. However, there are a number of common factors you should look out for. These include:

    Unsolicited approaches
Unrealistically high returns offered for ‘low risk” investments
No independent evidence of the validity of the scheme
  • This is more than likely a scam. Avoid like the plague.

I'd rather give my money to SJP than this lot....

I can pretty much guarantee you that the return on your £500 will be awesome, for the first month, and then you will lose all your money.

If this sounds good, I can give you my bank details and you can just give me £5,500 and save yourself some stress.
