Lower your Channel Islands ferry cost

I have booked accommodation in the Channel Islands for next spring and was wondering whether to fly and hire a car, or take my car on the ferry. When calling the hotel to ask about taxi cost from the airport, they said that their booking the ferry for me at trade prices could influence my decision. I am now on the ferry at £178 return – as opposed to £315 to me on the internet.

Tip – ask your hotel if it can book the ferry for you. What does this say about the level of Condor’s retail fares?
