Which card for Very Balance transfer?

Hi all, new to the forums, i'm looking to transfer my balance from a very catalogue online account to a credit card, i'd also like a card I can spend on too. Am I right in thinking an all rounder card would be ok or can you only transfer a balance from another credit card and not an online account? Basically I need to know what card can pay off the balance of the very account so I owe it on that instead.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi and welcome to the forum,

I think you need a money transfer card for that transaction.
MT card >> Current Account >> Very account

You could also use a Purchase promotion card and make the payment direct to Very

    Alright, thanks for the reply

I'm just a bit unsure whether the debt on my very account is classed as store card debt eventhough its online, in which case i'd need a balance transfer? or whether it can be classed as a sort of loan and a money transfer card or 0% spending card would be the one to go for, if I could use the 0% card then that would be ideal as i can then use it to make purchases for whatever if needed too

I've paid a Very account using a credit card and incurred no charges or interest.

If you select a card on a 0% purchases promo. Then you could ring the card issuer up before application to confirm there would be no charges for the Very transaction. (ie that they do not classify the transaction as a cash advance or withdrawal)

If you select a card on a 0% money transfer promo, then you will definitely not incur interest or charges (apart from the money transfer transaction fee).

A balance transfer card would not be suitable at all. It is only used for a transfer from one card to another card.

Right ok thank you for the help, good job I checked on here first as I was thinking I needed the balance transfer option until I saw it worded as being for credit card transfers, which is what brought me to ask on here
