With either of these accounts no DD’s are required to switch.

You just need to complete a switch, pay in £1500 & login to online or mobile banking & you qualify for the initial £125, to get the extra £50 you need to use your debit card monthly until June 2020

Sorry for the delay in replying but I didn't want to tempt fate so have waited until the payment day before posting.


Well I got my £125 incentive from Natwest earlier this month and today got my £125 incentive from RBS so looks like you could have done them both or I am just lucky.


Did you have any luck getting yours?

Thanks carcuscrae, yes I got the £125 incentive in addition to the £125 Nat West. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no need to "put up a fight" for it. Still working on the £50 addl bonus using card each month for the rest of the term, hopefully I won't forget.

Even got a text ahead of time confirming I'd met the conditions of the offer and I was due the payment.

resurrecting an old thread - I would like to take advantage of the current £150 switching offer from NatWest. i need to close and switch an account and pay in £1500.

I have just created a new account in Halifax in the,hope this will qualify as the account I will "close and switch" (I have a joint account and a personal account with Halifax)so this brings me to 3 Halifax accounts.

Can I just "switch and close" the new account i have created to qualify for the offer?

I need a Natwest account either way,
