Undiagnosed pre-existing condition life insurance

Hi,
I'm in the process of setting up life & critical illness cover for me and my partner. My partner has had fibromyalgia-like symptoms (emphasis on "like") for the past 8 years. The last tests she has had from the doctors was over five years ago and they came back stating they couldn't find anything wrong with her. The only treatment that she has received from these tests have been painkillers, anti-depressants and meditation. The doctors believe that it is all in her head and that there is nothing physically wrong with her.
With this in mind, would I have to mention any of this in a life insurance application? The tests were over five years ago, they came back negative and the doctors have done nothing but sit on their thumbs spinning in their chairs. She is still living with the symptoms that affect her daily and she goes to the doctors regularly but they are reluctant to do any tests.
I would appreciate any advice on the matter. Cheers.

You need to simply comply with the wording of the question. If the question includes details such as "tests" then you must answer it with the details. You will of course need to declare all the medications.0

They usually ask if you are getting treatment or awaiting diagnosis for anything. As long as you answer truthfully it should be fine.0

If she currently has symptoms then yes, declare itChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
