Council Issued PCN

Hi all,

I’ve been advised to post this here, so...

I received a PCN from the council for parking on double yellow lines. The warden took a photo of the front and back of the vehicle and then handed me the print out telling me it was a restricted road (no apparent signage).

Having inspected the ticket the registration number is incorrect - by one character and the colour of the car is completely incorrect.

My question is do I need to pay, ignore or challenge?

The only way I believe they could contact me is through the photographs taken and find my address from the DVLA and potentially re-issue the ticket.

Any advice please :)

Where were you advised to bring this here?

For best advice take this to pepipoo

This forum majors on private parking invoices rather than proper council tickets

    No, NO! Yes.

But there are more Council experts on pepipoo, hence we signpost people there.

You will win. The Council will have to cancel.
and the colour of the car is completely incorrect.
    Irrelevant, do not mention it.

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
