The winner and guest will stay for three nights, half-board, at the Sporthotel Alpenblick — a member of Niche Destinations — in the lakeside town of Zell am See. At the southern end of the resort, with its back to the mountains, the Alpenblick has 90 rooms and suites, and is a relaxed base from which to enjoy this spectacular corner of the Alps. Just to the south are the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and the highest peak in Austria, the Grossglockner.
The surrounding countryside offers a rich mix of forests, meadows and sparkling lakes. Sports on offer include sailing, hiking, cycling, tennis, riding, golf, beach volleyball and summer skiing. Salzburg is 90 minutes away by train.
The prize includes return flights from London to Salzburg, transfers in Austria and two spa treatments each.
