Luton hotel cancellation

Hi there can anyone help,i was wondering what my rights are on this problem.I booked a hotel room back on the 11th sept through laterooms.co.uk for sun 25th nov.This week the hotel emailed me direct to say no room available.Contacted laterooms who got on to the hotel to discover this new hotel in not opening till the week after i need it even though there system is advertising rooms available now.They are looking for alternative accomodation,are they obliged to compensate me or at least guarantee a room at same price as all alternatives now seem more expensive.

i am sure they can only refund you. if generous they would book you in elsewhere.

if you want c heap option, book the Days Inn Luton on daysinn.com, find the rate cheaper on another website (superbreak.com) tell them and get the night for free. see the latter part of the free hotel stays thread for more info
