I ordered it as soon as I saw the original post I also ordered a pair of trainers with it so I wonder if it was due to the balance not showing as 1p??? Shame they didn't honour it for some though as was a great bargain

:beer: Thankyou so much sabotage1 the bed has just been delivered:j can hardly believe it. I hope you got 1 too, I owe you a drink. I ordered some trainers for my wee girl so maybe having something else on the order helped it go through .

I'm gutted.. no order tracking and no bed... My little girl is in desperate need of a new bed too. Her current bedbase was mine when I was a girl! With money tight I was hoping it would be a lovely xmas prezzie for her.

To those whose have arrived- did the order track?

I got email confirmation of joining littlewoods, but no order confirmation..

Aw sorry about that Claireabell , yes it did show up online. we weren't desperate for it yet but lo will need to move out of her cot soon so it was def a bonus.

The two terms below are from the littlewoods site. My reading of them is that once the order is delivered, the items are yours and littlewoods have no comeback. Further, the order is accepted and a contract between you and them is formed at the price stated.

Their only chance to change the price or stop the order is if they contact you prior to the goods being despatched. The terms state that the order will be cancelled if they can't contact you.

2.2 When you submit an order to us on our website you will receive a
'bounce back' confirmatory email of this order saying that we are
processing your order. You will then receive a second email from us
acknowledging your order and giving you estimated timescales for
delivery. You should check both emails for accuracy and let us know
immediately if there are any errors. Neither of these emails
constitute acceptance of the order by us. Your order will be accepted
by us (and a contract will then be formed between us) when we despatch
the goods to you. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery.

3.2 Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and
error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we
discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we
will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct
details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based
on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will
treat your order as cancelled.

Also, having seen a delivery note, the price stated on it is 1p. So, if a letter does come, littlewoods are out of luck. Unless, of course, you are daft enough to agree to pay the full amount.

I think it is a bit different to the £25.00 voucher scenerio as people who were not entitled to use the voucher used it and that was Littlewoods' complaint. However, anyone is entitled to buy a bed for 1p if it is advertised as such and then delivered for that price.

I received a letter stating:

"Dear Ms Chocaholic

Thank you for your enquiry.

Unfortunately, our information shows that it may not be appropriate to fulfil your request at the address you have supplied. This may be for one of a number of reasons, including respecting a previous request from yourself.

We are sorry to disappoint you. Details of your request and our decision will of course remain strictly confidential."

I have had no other contact with Littlewoods other than ordering a bed, so it must be to do with that.

Has anyone else received one of these?
