Holiday to Disneyworld Florida!?! Advice!?!

Hi All

I want to surprise my wife and little boy and book a holiday to Disneyworld in Florida next year for the three of us.

Ideally, I'd like to go around July/August/September time and I would like to go for two weeks.

I have looked at a few websites and total package price is around £3000 for all three of us!

I'm thinking that some of you lot would have been before and would love your advice/do' and don'ts/bargain discounts etc etc

I thought I saw these kind of deals in the Sun newspaper for like £500 per person? or is that just me being naive?
