NI Shortfall

Hi,
I have a shortfall in NI contributions for 05-06 and I can make a voluntary payment of £205 if I want it to count as a qualifying year for the state pension. I am 25 and have 6 qualifying years up to April 2005, and I believe I only need 30 yrs to qualify? Is it worth making up the shortfall?
Thanks!

I personally don't think it is worth making up the shortfall in your case. You have loads of time to contribute another 24 years!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0
