Building work completed by a non-certified person

Hi,
I am purchasing a property and it turns out that the modifications done to the bathroom (created an en-suit, converted another storage to the main bathroom and blinded a window) was completed by a non-certified person and hence there are no paperwork. The survey did not indicate any structural issues and damage to load bearing walls.
I have asked an indemnity policy to be put in place for the work completed. My solicitor seems to be OK with this option, however I was wondering if I would face any issues when trying to resell the house (in 5-10 years time)?
Thanks
