None delivery of item

Paid for a dress from John Lewis just before Christmas on ‘first delivery’ their courier Hermes have apparently delivered to a neighbour who is adamant they did not receive it. I asked them not to deliver to alternative addresses. I have asked John Lewis to refund my money as I have paid for something and received nothing. They have said as a delivery was made they will not refund the money. I have said if a delivery was made, it was not made to me. What do I do now?

Send them a letter before action or speak to your card company.0

I do most complaints using a website called Resolver, it goes up to the ombudsman in some cases, i think John Lewis & Partners is listed so make your complain through them.
It's easier than messing around with posting letters etc.Enjoy everyday like it's your last!0 -

John Lewis have outsourced their customer service to Crapita.
Possibly one of the stupidest decisions by s UK company this decade.0 -
Crapita and customer service should not be used in the same sentence0
