Tax on mileage when moved by your employer

I was made redundant by my work place and moved home station. The company then paid me travel allowance which is in our terms and conditions of my contract. The question I have is, should I be taxed on travel allowance that is not my fault by being moved further away.

Commuting costs would be taxable unless a temporary (<24 months) move0 -

I was reading that and read 4.6 onwards to 4.10 and I took it as I could have a chance of claiming.0
