Envirofone - damaged iPad

Hello MSE. I’m looking for some advice.
I sent my iPad Pro to envirofone a few weeks ago and it was requoted to £0.00 due to liquid damage (which an Apple Technician from an Apple Store has since said there is no liquid damage present).
I received the item back and there are deep scratches to the display which weren’t there when I posted the item. The scratches are so bad, I actually thought the display was cracked!
I sent the item wrapped in 4 layers of bubble wrap, a cardboard box and 2 Jiffy bags. No other damage (bends, cracks etc.) are present.
I have dated photographs and videos from immediately prior to posting and on the day I received the iPad back clearly showing the deep scratches not there. Envirofone claim the scratches happened in transit and are not responsible for this. The scratches are really visible and have devalued my iPad elsewhere.
Never had any issues with these guys until this and I’m very frustrated.
Any advice on dealing with envirofone, regarding the scratches, would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Jack
