3 car accidents in 3 months. How to insure next car?

Hi everyone.
I have been so unlucky last year and this year so there are no words to describe it and now I am in the situation with a lot of confusion. But let me start from the begging
1)Last year 2nd November I was in involved in car accident not at my fault. Claimed for the damage. A car (Honda) was repaired in the approved insurer body shop without a legal owner's (my wife) consent. I am only a policy holder. I had a lot of stress regarding this matter and numerous phone calls to my insurer who pressurized me to accept a repairs. But this story I maybe will disclose in another thread.
2) My 2nd accident was a month later when I was driving a company's van during my work time. Again not at my fault. No claim this time.
3) The 3rd accident occurred just after The New Year on the 7th January 2019. Unfortunately this is probably is my fault as I do not pure evidence or experts approval to support my statement that a car's (the same Honda) brakes did not work as I expected so I hit another car in the back while braking. It will be classified as my fault as I did not keep a safe distance from the vehicle in the front. But when filling up the claim I stated that brakes did not work as expected - ABS system was activated while braking on the dry road. I never had ABS working except wet or snow conditions.
Anyway, my concern is different now
I had to buy another car and insurer it. Before all of the accidents I had 5 year No Claim Discount bonus. The recent Honda policy has Ad-on NCD Protection. Policy is still active even a car is not drive-able and insurer is dealing with it now. In the next 10 days their technical team should get in contact with me and discuss the next steps. This will be very interesting.
I asked advice from the insurer adviser that I am looking for another car desperately and could I chance vehicle in the policy but adviser informed that it is better to get a new policy for another car until a recent claim has been dealt with.
So how should I insurer another car in this matter?
I believe my premium will go up through the roof. 3 accents in 3 months but there is NCD Protection. How can I be sure NCD Protection will not be affected after the recent accident at my fault?
I will be much appreciated for your help and advice.
Thanks a lot

If you still own the current car will they be fixing it or writing it off? Is that the issue?
If it is then maybe hire a car until they decide?
Otherwise its a new policy with zero no claims and 3 incidents to declare.
Is the protected no claims still valid after 3 claims?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The car is very likely a write off. Too much damage. A honda accord 2009 which is worth not more than 4k market value with 120k miles. Damage: bumper, bonnet, both headlights, radiators (coolant traces in the front), exhaust (dpf), engine rattles when idle... So very likely write off.
I used to pay my insurance premiums annually but at his point maybe the best way will be to pay monthly until everything is sorted and I will know exactly what will happen with NCD Protection0 -
Think I would stick to buses and taxis if that was me lol.
Good luckBe happy, it's the greatest wealth0 -

Unless you are buying a short term policy (i.e. one that only covers you for a week or a month) the insurance is still an annual contract, you effectively take out a loan to pay for the insurance over the 12 months.0
