Sorry, I've changed my mind about posting this here as I'm still trying to resolve it. Thank you for your help Quentin, apologies for deleting.

    Your current problem is that many Insurers won't insure if there's a history of subsidence. This may be the situation with your current insurer

    You don't as yet have a cancellation on your record, and can still avoid that by cancelling now.
