Urgent Unlocking problem ! Help please !

I'm trying to unlock a Nokia 7250i, which I bought off Ebay for a gift.

The seller has told me that the phone was locked to the BT Mobile. I there a site that will generate the code I need using this info please ?

I've tried trycktill.com and unlock.nokiafree.org.

Need to try and catch the post today !!!

Sorry, me again !

Is there anyway I can check on the phone which network it's locked to ? Some code to punch in ?! There's nothing obvious on the box/mobile etc

As far as i'm aware you can't check to see which network the phone is currently locked to except for trying each of the four networks (remember that Virgin, Fresh & EasyMobile use T-Mobile's network so if you have one of these simcards and not t-mobile you are ok).

Once you then know the network it is locked to, you can use the sites you mentioned above, or post in the top sticky.

Remember, that you only get 5 tries before the phone will no longer except unlock codes unless its done via a cable.
