I currently have a Garmin Forerunner 305. It is excellent for running as it connects to Strava, so I can track my times.

I am thinking about upgrading to a smart watch. I would like to use the watch for:

1) Running
2) Gym
3) Casual watch

I believe this is the most suitable I have found so far: https://www.argos.co.uk/product/6221852?cmpid=GS001&_%24ja=tsid%3A59158%7Cacid%3A532-198-3455%7Ccid%3A598893978%7Cagid%3A24310580810%7Ctid%3Aaud-484139256621%3Apla-292700682386%7Ccrid%3A86866261370%7Cnw%3Ag%7Crnd%3A11220282075741210397%7Cdvc%3Am%7Cadp%3A1o1%7Cmt%3A%7Cloc%3A1006876&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2-SZi8Gq3wIVbLXtCh375AjaEAsYASABEgJP1vD_BwE&fbclid=IwAR0IS0qRsoFZq1Q974p45h7EkoCgFp7atxbzgVj4X4Oe_AlkOjpKOstOZx8. I am looking for an Android as I have an android phone.

I am looking for suggestions and reviews.

OP - have you looked at the Fossil Sport? It's the first affordable smart watch with the new 3100 chipset. At the moment the firmware/software doesn't really make the most of the new chipset but it's only really a matter of time.

Having said that - have you sat down and considered what you really want a smartwatch for?

When I bought my first one (I started with a Fossil Q Marshall & have just bought myself a Fossil Sport) there were specific things I wanted it for which wouldn't be covered by a watch such as your Garmin. From what you've mentioned it might be that a new Garmin is your best option!
