AAA screening

I was always interested in AAA screening. A totally risk free and painless procedure that could save your life. However it was a disease that affected mostly men. So while women were going for cervical screening and controversial breast screening men seemed to be losing out. However I now read that it is offered on the NHS but I have never met a man who has been screened.

My dad was offered routine AAA screening a few years ago. Quick and painless. I think it was just a simple ultrasound scan
