Saying NO to eating out

120 Posts

Had a bit of a down week spending wise this week just gone.
I work in the City Centre and going out is always a temptation. This week I ended up going out to a restaurant for dinner twice!
I really beat myself up about it and feel terrible going out when I am in the situation that I am.
Just wondered if anyone had any practical tips on saying no or just budgeting say £50 for eating out a month.

Do you like to cook? Are you able to ask friends round for dinner instead and its a case of make a dish each... even boost the fun by doing a come dine with me with friends. You could get fed once a week if you spaced it out lol.
