Hi
I am going to London on Monday via train and dont know which stop to get off at. I am staying on Cromwell road and the nearest tube station to the hotel is Earls court, which train station do I get off at and where do I catch a tube to get me to earls court???
Also do i need a ticket for the tube and any ideas how much it is?
Any help is much appreciated, thanks :j

There is only one stop in London for your train from Manchester - Euston.
The best place to get the tube to Earls Court is not Euston but Euston Square. Come out of the front of the mainline station, cross the main road and it should be a little to your right.0 -
Check out www.tfl.gov.uk for prices for london transport - although I think that you will find the cheapest is getting an oyster card, if you are likely to return to the capital to use it again.0

thanks for the info, i think it might be best to get a taxi from the train station as i would need to get 2 tubes, and would prob get lost!!
Would i need to book a taxi or will there be cabs outside?0 -
theres always cabs outside.
Id guesstimate cab would cost about 18 quid from Euston to cromwell road.
Believe me, its not difficult, and you wont need to get 2 tubes only one.
Go ont googlemaps and google Euston, it will show you where Euston square is, its very close. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I looked on internet and it said we needed to get a tube on victoria line to green park, then one on picadilli line to earls court, not sure how correct this is !!
however as it is me hubby and 2 small kids it might be easier and cheaper to get cab.
Many thanks for your help0 -

It's correct but using Euston Square is easier - Circle line to Paddington then (same platform - can't get lost) District Line to Earls Court.
Tube will cost £4 each adult, £2 each child - under 5s free. A cab will be easier, probably not cheaper0
