Hi we are in the process and very close to completion on a shared ownership new build . We went to see the house liked it etc but after the process began we visited again and found the neighbour has built a huge shed / outbuilding right next to the fence it’s about ten feet tall it blocks light and is very ugly all made of wood a diy effort . We contacted the developer who said they would ensure it was taken down as it had no permission . They have now said they did authorise him to do so! We were never told it was going to be built and would not have got this far if it had been there when we went to view it . Where do we stand we are considering withdrawing from the same but we will lose fees paid already doesn’t seem fair when they didn’t tell us they had authorised a huge ugly builidijg right next to the fence
