Cancel car lease?

Is it possible to cancel a car lease? I took a new deal in March and have recently bought a house so would prefer to spend the ££ on something else and buy a cheaper car.
Am I allowed to do this? I can't lay my hands on my documentation at the moment so any advice is welcomed.
Thanks!

You can but are likely to have to pay a hefty sum for the privilege of being without a car.
You really need to find your paperwork as individual agreements will vary.0 -

Is it definitely a lease (ie, contract hire) or a PCP agreement?0

Is Your car lease hire purchase agreement, if so you can Voluntary Termination provided you have paid 50% of your agreement If you haven't paid 50% then you will need to talk to your creditor about your agreement, and ask them their options how to cancel without costing you too much. letting your agreement going into default will certainly cost you0
