Upgrade

Hi,

My mobile contract is up for renewal and I cannot decide which for phone to get.. I either want a Iphone 8 or Huawei P20 Pro.

I don't know much about the Huawei Pro and I don't know how to transfer the data over.

I have contacted EE about my upgrade and they offering me £48.00pm for Iphone 8 even though the phone is a years old or so.

I have searched online and the monthly payments are £45 plus for both phones. I don't want to pay that much for the phone. I am not sure what to do? should I wait? Im hesitant to get the Huawei Pro but I have good feedback about the phone.

Thanks

Why not stay with existing phone for a while and switch to sim only. There are plenty of sim only contracts between £5 to £10 per month. Then you can save to buy a new phone up front.

Upgrade is just a marketing term used by phone companies to persuade you to buy a new phone at an inflated price. It is normally much cheaper to buy the phone separately and get a sim only contract.
