Does anyone know of any companies who provide insurance if you are travelling abroad for cosmetic surgery please? My insurance company doesn’t cover it and the only one I can find online is Travel Shield but I’d like to have some other quotes to compare. The surgery I am going with do not have any recommendations.
Thank you in advance.

I'm surprised you've found one company!

I would carefully check that any complications arising from your surgery are fully covered, and that it will do what you are expecting of it.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

I am surprised as well that you found cover.

As TS says check the policy well , the main exclusion is it will not cover treatment necessary from the proceedure unless it is life threatening and occurs during the proceedure.

It also excludes all other pre existing medical conditions.

I will be surprised if you find anything else.
  • Thank you both, much appreciated.
