Refund that will put my account in credit

I might be getting a refund for something that I purchased on my Barclaycard.
If I do this would put my account in credit by about £1,000.
What would Barclaycard do in this situation? Would the refund be refused?
Or would the £1,000 sit on the card for me to spend?
I could do a money transfer to my current account to put the Barclaycard balance to £0 but not sure BC would allow that?

You could ask for it to be sent to you if you want, which they may or may not do.
Don't do a money transfer - you don't want to pay to get your own money.
Either way, don't let it sit there for too long.
