I might be getting a refund for something that I purchased on my Barclaycard.

If I do this would put my account in credit by about £1,000.

What would Barclaycard do in this situation? Would the refund be refused?
Or would the £1,000 sit on the card for me to spend?

I could do a money transfer to my current account to put the Barclaycard balance to £0 but not sure BC would allow that?

It will sit there for you to spend.

You could ask for it to be sent to you if you want, which they may or may not do.

Don't do a money transfer - you don't want to pay to get your own money.

Either way, don't let it sit there for too long.

Just use the card as normal. The credit will then get spent.

Thank you all, good to hear I can just put normal expenses on it until it goes.

I think even I'd struggle to spend a grand in a day :rotfl:
