Details of the Competition:
• Online: To enter the competition an Entrant must go online to Heart.co.uk and register their details. Online entry will open at 00.01am on 18/07/18 and close at 1pm on 26/07/18.
• Entrants will be asked to answer the competition question: To describe a holiday that didn’t go to plan, explaining how something challenging, unexpected or entertaining happened – and left you needing another holiday afterwards.
• Entries may be excluded if they feature anything illegal, include anything not suitable for a family audience, feature stories of excessive alcohol or drug consumption, or feature anything that may be distressing or require warnings before bringing to-air.
• Entrants have a maximum of 300 characters to tell Heart their story.
• 25 entries will be picked at random each day – Mon 23rd, Tues 24th, Weds 25th, Thurs 26th July – at 1pm from all entries received up to that point.
• A Heart Producer will then pick their top 3 stories out of the 25.
• The number 1 choice will then be contacted on the details supplied at the point of entry. The number 2 and 3 choice would be held as back ups if we cannot get in touch with the number 1 choice.
• If we cannot get hold of an entrant after one attempt, we will move on to the next backup.
• The entrant selected will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and one of the back up entrants will be called..
• The entrant will be brought to air and announced as the competition winner.
• The winner from each day will then be ineligible to win again. All other entries will return in to the draw and could be selected at random over the following days whilst the competition is live.


Prize:
There will be 4 x winners selected in total. Each winner will win one prize package as follows; The prize awarded on Monday 23rd July consists of;
• Return flights for two adults and two children to Tenerife, Spain
• Return transfers from the airport to the hotel
• 4 Nights’ accommodation in a 3-star hotel
• Breakfast for two adults and two children in the hotel restaurant each morning
• Dinner for two adults and two children in the hotel restaurant each evening
• Travel insurance
• Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser, must be booked at least 6 weeks in advance and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter and Bank Holidays (both UK and Spain).
• Children must be aged 15 years or younger at the time of travel.
• Departure airport used will be dependent on the direct availability from the winners nearest available international airport, which may not necessarily be the closest. Non-UK passports holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the Embassy at their own expense. Includes all taxes, surcharges and two pieces of checked luggage (15kg each) only.
• Transfers are not private and may be shared with other passengers.
• Hotel is classed as a 3 Star minimum and is based on two adults and two children sharing a family room with en-suite bathroom on a half board basis. Room type and half board inclusions may vary depending on the selected hotel.
• Hotel, transfer and accommodation will be booked as a package.
• Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply.
• All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

The prize awarded on Tuesday 24th July consists of;
• Return flights for two adults and two children to Majorca, Spain
• Return transfers from the airport to the hotel
• 4 Nights’ accommodation in a 3-star hotel
• Breakfast for two adults and two children in the hotel restaurant each morning
• Travel insurance
• Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser, must be booked at least 6 weeks in advance and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter and Bank Holidays (both UK and Spain).
• Children must be aged 15 years or younger at the time of travel.
• Departure airport used will be dependent on the direct availability from the winners nearest available international airport, which may not necessarily be the closest.
