I've seen there's a lot of Q's about these vouchers now the deadline is extended but I cant seem to find answer to mine...
I've run the numbers and I'd very clearly be better off on the Vouchers scheme as opposed to the new tax-free scheme. I'm looking to send my little one to playschool next year so was thinking its a good idea to get into the scheme now by applying for the minimum and then at least of the option of moving over at a later date.
My question is, if I take £5 a month worth of vouchers now how easy is it to change the amount at a later date? I'm not tied in to 12m of £5 for example or anything like that?

Assuming your employer operates a voucher scheme the payment for the vouchers are salary sacrifice so you will probably need to sign a new contract and will be restricted by the terms of that.
Your employer would be the best person to advise you.0 -
The schemes I have been in you can change the amount quite easily with a months notice , however does your scheme have a minimum that low- I think mine is £10 or £20? I was not required to sign a new contract when I joined the scheme earlier this year (for exactly the same reasons as you- in case I need it in future).0

I'm in fideliti and it is very easy to change the amount with a month's notice, but £5 seems very low, I don't know how much nursery is but I would save as much as you can now, my childminder is £35 a day! The vouchers with fideliti don't have an expiry date so you can save them up.Grocery Challenge Jul £380.75 Aug £637 Sep £539.82 Oct £53.43 / £475
