Is this normal ESA assessment?

Had my ESA assessment two weeks ago, the assessor seemed very nice, and she began the interview with questions about my bowel incontinence, she went into great detail on this and through the medical records I provided, she spent about 40 minuets on it and I thought I would be there all day if she went on like this, then she got up and said she needed to speak to someone about my case, when she came back she said I have all the information I need and didn’t need to go into any other medical details. No physical assessment and just that I will get a letter from the DWP in due course. I’m not sure if this is a positive or negative?

Sounds normal to me. Hopefully for you, you'll be put into the Support Group, could be the reason why no more info was needed. However, no one here knows that for sure, and you'll have to wait for the decision. You can also ask for a copy of the assessment report to be sent to you, this will give you some idea what the decision will be. Good luck.
