Quickest 'dummy' account to open?

I've just seen on the weekly email that RBS is offering £100 to switch, a bank I've previously not taken advantage of the switching offer from before. I don't currently have any 'dummy' accounts open, so was wondering which was the quickest to open to take advantage of this switching offer?

    Probably one you've already got an account with so avoid ID checks.

    You are aware you cant't access the RBS incentive if you've had the recent Natwest ones?

    Ah wasn't aware of that but I didn't get that cashback - I've currently got a NatWest account open that I use (assume that's ok? It's been open ages).

    I'm posting this thread as I've just closed 3 accounts as I was convinced that I wasn't going to be eligible for another cashback offer again anytime soon - typical!

    You should have time to open an account if you pass electronic checks;
    there is no req't for DDs or SOs on the donor and you have nothing to lose by trying.

    As often is the case the terms are unclear in that with a new eligible account you have to apply by July 9th. However if you've already got an eligible account there doesn't seem to be the same deadline. But, if you want to avoid potential hassle, I'd get it done before the 9th July if poss.

    If you have one near you metro Bank as they open one in-store then and there including printing debit card and activating internet banking etc took about 20 minutes including them trying to sell me additional services for 10 of those.
