Parking charge notice for motorbike!

Hi. I have received a £100 Parking Charge Notice from Smart Parking for "by either not purchasing the appropriate parking time or by remaining at the car park longer than permitted"
I was parked for 2hours and 33 minutes, NOT in a parking bay, as we were on a Motorbike.
where on a motorbike are you meant to securely fix a parking ticket? If I place it on the bike it will either blow away or be taken by someone for their own car!
It says if I wish to contest, which I have emailed asking where should I put a ticket on a bike, but am still awaiting a reply, which I doubt I will get. How do I now take this further please?
Many thanks

Is that what you put in your appeal? Did you out the driver then? I hope not.

I used to have a spare tax disc holder bolted to my bike where I could place a parking ticket. I'm sure other methods are available.

If you have a PoPLA code then use it. You will find template appeal points you can use in post 3 of the NEWBIES thread that you are asked to read before starting a new thread.
If you are still waiting for a reply, then wait until you have a PoPLA code.

What happened when you complained to the landowner?

Please complain to your MP and Sir Greg Knight MP about this unregulated scam.

These are some of the comments made by the MPs in Parliament concerning the unregulated parking industry (Feb 2018):

''Rip-offs from car park Cowboys must stop''; unfair treatment; signage deliberately confusing to ensure a PCN is issued; ''years of abuse by rogue parking companies''; bloodsuckers; ''the current system of regulation is hopeless, like putting Dracula in charge of the blood-bank''; extortionate fines; rogue operators; ''sense of injustice''; unfair charges and notices; wilfully misleading; signage is a deliberate act to deceive or mislead; ''confusing signs are often deliberate, to trap innocent drivers''; unreasonable; a curse; harassing; operating in a disgusting way; appeals service is no guarantee of a fair hearing; loathed; outrageous scam; dodgy practice; outrageous abuse; unscrupulous practices; ''the British Parking Association is as much use as a multi-storey car park in the Gobi desert''; and finally, by way of unanimous conclusion: ''we need to crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to this country. Ordinary motorists and ordinary residents should not have to put up with this''.

These are the exact words used, so you should quote them to your MP in a complaint and ask him/her to contact Sir Greg Knight MP if he wants further information about this scam.

It says if I wish to contest, which I have emailed asking where should I put a ticket on a bike,
OMG you've done that already and admitted to being the rider of the bike?

Imagine how frustrated we are, reading that from people all the time: ''Hello I've appealed already and given away my entire life story and told them who was driving''.

Especially with Smart Parking who would have been 100% win, a slam dunk at POPLA stage, had you not done that...
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
